Former STONE TEMPLE PILOTS Drummer Laying Down Tracks For SPIRALARMS Debut
March 25, 2005Former STONE TEMPLE PILOTS drummer Eric Kretz is laying down tracks for the debut album from SPIRALARMS, the new San Francisco Bay Area-based band featuring former members of SYSTEMATIC, MANMADEGOD and FORBIDDEN.
While SPIRALARMS were recording the upcoming CD at Kretz's Bomb Shelter Studios in Los Angeles, California, regular SPIRALARMS drummer Steve Jacobs (ex-FORBIDDEN, MANMADEGOD) sustained a debilitating shoulder injury that has prevented him from playing in the band for at least a year. Because of SPIRALARMS' "explosive sound and exceptional musicianship," Eric is currently pulling double duty as producer and drummer on the as-yet-untitled record.
SPIRALARMS will be the featured guests on San Francisco's 107.7 FM The Bone with Billy Steele Friday night (March 25) beginning at 9:00 p.m. PST. Fans outside the Bay Area can listen via The Bone's live web feed at www.1077thebone.com.
